Who is the best choice in a construction arbitration- the technically qualified arbitrator or the legally qualified arbitrator. Dublin lawyer Graham Kenny makes the case for picking engineer arbitrators and Marion Smith KC, from 39 Essex Chambers in London speaks to the advantages of legally qualified arbitrators.
Speakers: Graham Kenny is a Dublin based solicitor advocate with extensive experience representing major domestic/international companies before the Irish Superior Courts and domestic and international arbitral tribunals. Graham is also a solicitor in England & Wales, an Attorney at Law in New York and a Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Fellow.
Marion Smith KC is an experienced barrister, adjudicator, arbitrator and mediator whose practice involves complex disputes across a wide range of sectors and regions. She is recognised in legal directories as both counsel and arbitrator. Marion is Chair of the International Committee of the Bar Council of England & Wales.
